Will Virtual Voting for D.C. Condo Associations Expire Soon?

The District of Columbia’s Association Meeting Flexibility Temporary Amendment Act of 2024 is currently set to expire on March 31, 2025. This Act authorized both Condominium Association virtual meetings and voting. The Act was originally enacted on a temporary basis in 2020 as a response to the Covid-19 Pandemic and has been extended several times since then. The District of Columbia City Council has yet to confirm if they plan on renewing it further.
